Ken Rogers Founder

Ken began running as a member of the Colorado Track Club and subsequently competed for the Nike National Team. He began timing races for the Colorado Track Club, Athletic Enterprises and BKB, Ltd in Colorado. As his interests moved over to motorsports he developed a scoring program for the Motorcycle Roadracing Association, a Colorado based racing organization. Eventually this led to a position with the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) where he was in charge of timing and scoring the U.S. Superbike Championship. This led to becoming the Director of Timing and Scoring for all of the AMA professional racing series including the U.S. Supercross, Motocross, Superbike and Flat Track Championship Series.

After leaving the AMA Ken was one of the founders of Hardcard Systems, developing affordable chip based timing systems for motorsports, running, bicycling and skiing. Hardcard had customers in 16 countries and also provided the timing services for the AMA Arenacross Championship series.

More recently Ken has come back to timing local and regional running, bicycling and skiing races as the founder of Kandu Timing. He has integrated many of the timing features used in motorsports racing into the current systems used by Kandu Timing.
